To fully gain an understanding of Great Britain, it is important to have knowledge about the various regions of the nation.  For this assignment, you and a partner will select a region of the UK and research it.  What is there that people should know about?  What should people traveling to this area go see?

 

You are to create a PowerPoint (or GoogleSlides) with a partner about your region to present to the class.

 

Include the following information:

 

• Location—what is it near?  How do people get there?  Where is it in relation to major bodies of water, major towns?  Include a map of area and geographical description
• List at least 3 major towns
• Describe at least 5 major attractions—such as churches, museums, castles, palaces, natural wonders, National Trust Properties, old ruins, etc.
• Any other general information that you find interesting to share with others.
• Works Cited
• Grammar, spelling and punctuation are correct.
• Also include photos of region landscapes, major towns and attractions. 
• Use complete sentences in bulleted lists.
